Objective
Narrow the treatment gap by providing help to mental illness sufferers more efficiently.
Insight
Most youths suffer from mental illnesses. Due to stigma and misconceptions, they are afraid to seek help, causing their illnesses to escalate and worsen as they grow up.
Idea
Mind Matters
eCounselling
Most counselling sites require sufferers to call or email in, which either makes them feel uncomfortable speaking or take ages for them to get help. Counselling forums often don't have the most professional or kindest people to provide the help and support that these sufferers are looking for.
What Mind Matters does differently is that sufferers can choose which counsellor or professional to speak to through texting. They can seek help from multiple professionals and gravitate towards the ones they are most receptive towards.
Design
The user interface is kept simple and intuitive for a better user experience.

All users can appear anonymous if they wish to protect their privacy.
The app also has an option where it can only be accessed with a pin code, ensuring that users have full privacy over their conversations.

This campaign comes with a website that provides information on mental health, the professionals, and upcoming talks that provide more information and help to sufferers.
To further raise awareness on the importance of mental health, we can also hold podcasts and interviews with professionals — which will all be available on the website itself.
Website

Based on the target audience's habits, advertising of this mobile app will mainly be on social media platforms that youths are always on — specifically Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.
Using quotes that these sufferers often think of, we can get their attention to more effectively get our message across.
